I'm nonplussed that everyone seems to focus on a silly (and obvious) joke rather than the article. Essentially the article is trying to mix debatable science with social suppositions to argue that Ashkenazi Jews are not really Jews of middle eastern origin. THAT idea has enormous political implications.They are arguing that Jews "traditionally" are matrelineal and that Jewish men married Italian women, so the offspring are not Jewish and this is proven genetically? Amazing. Maybe along with The Protocols they'll find documents about these bands of Jews on Shiksa patrols who found and raped thousands or millions of Italian women. |
