Yesterday there was a piece on TV where residents in Nassau County were protesting a 20 mph school zone on the LIE service road where the speed abruptly drops from 40 to 20 mph with a hidden camera behind trees. Since most everyone goes 50 on a service road anyway where there aren't any pedestrians and perhaps no parked cars, it is not even possible to slow down in time unless you already know exactly where the camera is. |
