Its sad because the only practical choices we have been given are not real choices.Democrats are running from the failed policies of a failed democrat president. The Republicans are running on the same failed democrat failures without putting forth a platform of their own. Democrats have played the desperation race card and sexism card and yet they are the ones sliding down the slippery slope of their own making. A Republican Senate still means vetos at the White House so nothing really changes for two more years. But the steam does get vented. On the positive side, I get out the Orville Redenbocker and watch the returns, listen to the pundits explain what went wrong and most of all, with any luck at all, watch the usual SUBCHAT liberals melt down in inglorious defeat. |
