It's called the spirit of compromise. Plus it would keep some people in healthcare insurance employed, which would be a little less disruptive economically. Medicare as it exists doesn't cover 100% of everything, they sell "Medigap" plans to cover that. I don't see any reason that would need to change. Medicaid already covers both for the poorest, so they can access those services as needed. |
