Since the first shot struck Brown in the hand at close range, according to what I've read, I'd speculate that Brown's hand was raised during the attack and not in surrender. He was repeatedly shot because police are taught to shoot until the perp goes down. Wilson did not take the time to assess the damage each shot caused before firing the next. Sorry Brown dies. Glad Wilson lived. Time to move on |
