So you're saying that modern democratic France is the same as Germany at the fall of the Wiemar Republic?No. My observations concerning why Jews are leaving France is the experience of their French parents. There was a lot of antisemitism in 19th and early 20th century France. That antisemitism was exploited by the Popular Front government's opponents. The parents of today's French emigres lived through that period and taught their children their mistakes. As the saying goes, fool me once... |
