If a self-involved punk seriously injures you, that's a tragedy (and I agree). If a self-involved middle class jerk can't pay enough attention to yield to a pedestrian*, well, shit happens, and happens often. Like 10,000 times per year in NYC.* Very few pedestrian injuries are caused by jaywalking, because those pedestrians are usually paying close attention. Most are caused by things like failure to yield when making a turn. |
