One of the things they teach you in journo 101 is to spot the euphemisms and "newspeak" and run like hell from endorsing them in what you write. Alas, even there, they blame the historians for "political correctness" even though they were never the ones who created it. I cringe every time I see the word "positioning" as to how to properly tell the customer they're about to get fucked, but they should lay back and enjoy it because it's going to be great.And dumbasses that they are, they buy THAT shit too. :( |
