I managed a hedge fund for years.Somehow, you'd never think that some railfan from Fort Worth, TX was running a hedge fund. That would mean frac sand companies scale back, unemployment in the oil fields goes up, and ultimately, less business for railroads, one of the engines (no pun intended) that has been driving the stock market. On the upside, those of us in the Northeast that are stuck using oil heat can breath a little easier this winter with lower heating costs. |
