It's helping, but...I'd prefer it not fall much below $80. The oil sector is like a canary in the coal mine. While oil prices certainly can and are manipulated (in 2011 it was estimated that about $15-$20 per barrel was attributed to speculators pushing up prices), markets prefer stability. Too high or too low sets off a chain reaction that frequently has unintended consequences. |
