Everything in the ad is true. Greg Abbott got his, and, in typical GOP fashion, has ever since been trying to keep others from getting theirs.The problem for Davis is, the average person will not see beyond the wheelchair imagery and come away with the impression that she is making fun, or taking advantage of, his disability. This is the fault of her advisers, and of the political class generally, who often fail to appreciate how the average voter looks at things. |
