Of course it does. Anyone on the planet who observed that this is something we've done every year would conclude that it's a tradition. That's kind of what the word means.

And it's your "tradition" that makes you an anti-Semite and everyone else who eats on Yom Kippur and eats bread on Passover not anti-Semites.
