I don't believe in God, but I still want to do Jewish things.

So then you really need to explain why you keep claiming my celebrations are "offensive." Gamera et al have the excuse that they honestly believe I'm violating the dictates of a magic sky man and that this is somehow a bad thing. You are stuck claiming that it's just inherently offensive I don't like the same things you do.
