Posted by WMATAGMOAGH on Wed Oct 1 09:13:00 2014 hereI hope everyone who plans to fast on Saturday is already starting to hydrate to prepare for the fast. I'm leading Shacharit for the first time this year, which by my estimation (having done the other 4 at least once over the years), is the longest service on Yom Kippur from end to end and in some ways the most vocally demanding. I hope my voice (and legs) can hold out for the ~2 hours that I expect Shacharit to last (longer if the ruach is good and I drag things out with niggunim to maintain that higher energy level). |
