If he doesn't consider the UN to be qualified to solve international disputes, then who is?Um, just because I pretend someone's premise is true for the purpose of showing how it results in an absurd conclusion doesn't mean I actually believe it myself. Is the Republic of Turkey the only country qualified to decide on the government of Israel/Palestine as the successor state to the Ottoman Empire? Of course not. I'm the one who rejects right of conquest, remember? Any government should be required to meet a set of minimal criteria. Beyond that, the people subject to it should have complete and exclusive control over how it's run. |
