It could work like that but probably wouldn't. People are way too polarized. Started with Nixon running on racism. Reagan didn't help one iota when he announced from Philadelphia, MS and in his next breath embraced the BACs. That pretty much cemented where the lines are a generation ago, it's just gotten worse since.Until the republicans change this is how it's gonna be. |
