Subchat has REALLY helped me appreciate the folks next door. Developmentally disabled people have pure souls. And they're NICE. such a pleasure spending some spare time with them talking to them about their own feels. Such a RADICAL difference from all the anger and hate which presents itself daily here. Good balm for my own soul, and theirs.It's interesting to see how the hate that promulgates here among the few just keeps adding chains to them daily. Even more sad that their demons aren't doing them any good as they continue to deteriorate right before our eyes. At least those institutionalized are getting some help. |
