For anyone who cares about this issue, there's a very nice little article posted by one of my colleagues as to how serious a problem this is, and why:http://www.infosecisland.com/blogview/23986-Poisoning-the-Well-Why-Malvertising-is-an-Enterprise-Security-Problem.html The important thing to understand here is that subchatters are not the specific target of this. It's your EMPLOYER they're after in hopes that you work for a bank, or a power company or some other juicy target they can compromise if you're viewing the various sites AT WORK. |
