Israel is a democracy in which many of its citizens are religious and the government recognizes that in establishing the calendar of holidays.So in other words, it's a theocracy? If a religious majority demanded the imposition of religious dictates, members of minority religions would have no rights of their own? Why is Israel not allowed such self-determination? No country should be endorsing any religion, let alone governing according to its dictates. I know you have this habit of saying: "You believe this policy should apply to everyone? WHY ARE YOU PICKING ON ISRAEL??!" but that's just how it is. I never said anything about killing infidels. No, but you seem to be joining the OTChat Autism Club what with your failure to understand the obvious but non-literal meaning of my posts. I was using snark to point out your habit of declaring: "If you call for any change in Israeli government policy, no matter how inconsequential, you are demanding that all of Israel's inhabitants be murdered." I think you're running away from your own point... Nope. I've been standing on it all this time watching you dance around it and beat up straw men. ... because you can't bring yourself to admit what you truly want to see in the Middle East. Here comes your little fantasy world again. You don't have the foggiest idea what I actually believe, but you know I think your religion is bollocks so you assume I must be calling for the extermination of everyone you know via fire-breathing robot. |
