A group of black thugs viciously beat a white couple in Springfield, MO. Whites don't march down the street; don't loot local stores; don't start rioting. No white leaders come forward demanding justice. Is that any way to protest against injustice?Did the police declare the beating was justified because the victims were white? Did prosecutors immediately classify the beating as self-defense until outside pressure forced them to indict? Did the thugs confess openly only to be set free while the issue is "investigated?" Are powerful political groups worried that arresting the thugs would infringe on the right of black people to beat up white people? Are the victims widely accused of bringing it on themselves? Are the thugs described as honour students while the victims are described as criminals? Will the thugs inevitably be acquitted because an all-black jury doesn't consider beating white people to be a crime? Are white people afraid to leave their houses? Do white people have to adopt a servile attitude in most social interactions to minimise the risk of being beaten to death? Do white people have to explain to their kids that they need to be very careful because there are loads of people looking for any excuse to beat them up solely because of the colour of their skin and the authorities will consider such a beating to be justified and not worthy of criminal investigation? This isn't an injustice. Go hang out with your Klan buddies and leave the rest of us alone. |
