I don't consider the Bible to be a source of historical evidence.It's not a particularly reliable source, but it is a source (or more accurately, a collection of sources) nonetheless. If it represents a certain group of people as being the descendants of an individual called Aaron and they do indeed seem to be descendants of the same individual, then the chances of that individual's being called Aaron are reasonably good. |
