I'm looking for a definitive source to quantify it.I'm not knocking the research in the link you provided. There are inherent problems with surveys. Was it a random sample? Was it a stratified sample? What efforts made to compensate for sampling bias? These are technical questions any survey reader should ask. The projections based on such surveys have differed widely. I've seen articles that estimated the yearly number of police killings from 400 to 1100. These articles were written within the last few weeks. I was hoping you would be able to find a reliable data because the subject appears to be a more immediate concern to you. |
