I don't suggest Israel develop policy to hasten the second coming of Jesus Christ, as you do. I'm not sure you are in a position to criticize me.That said, your history of Hamas rule in Gaza is a bit revisionist, the Israeli pullout did not turn Gaza into a Hamas enclave, but rather George W. Bush's insistence (among other factors) that free elections be held in the Palestinian Territories, even though it meant Hamas could win those elections, that led to Hamas taking over the strip. A Fatah run Gaza may have not been a de facto terror state. My thoughts about the situation are complex and are not black and white, but I don't think that BDS activists somehow help the Palestinians, although you seem to support the denial of democratic freedoms to groups you do not like. And the Palestinians do exist, whether you like it or not. |
