Criminals aren't entitled to rights. And we know they're criminals because we bluffed them into incriminating themselves.And anyway, the Constitution only applies to American citizens, right? No person ... shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself .... Hmm. What were they thinking? Surely that should say "citizen" not "person." Must be a scrivener's error. |
