OK, first off, your image says "24 killed" but it says one is still alive. Was the author just going for symmetry?Secondly, these are all over the place, in both dates and locations. They don't tell me what happened, or where, or how. Third, some of these might have been, and one was, committing actions that would allow anyone to be justifiable in shooting them. Sean Bell and his buddies used their car to physically attack a BLACK police officer. It wasn't questionable circumstances, the guy died because he did something incredibly stupid, and tried to kill someone. If someone is driving towards you with intent to hurt you, and you, Salaam, have a gun, you can start firing. that is justifiable. And if just 24 in a span of 25 years can be shown, that's not much to work with. |
