Reality therefore ... being a cop is a TOUGH job. It messes with your life. You see the worst of the worst, day in and day out. Cops have family problems too when the shit gets to them. Fact is, a lot of cops shouldn't have made it through the academy and if they had it together when they came out, the job often catches up with them.

Cops make mistakes. Goes with the territory. But the bottom line is that most cops are right of center, get attitudes towards those they serve and some of them just totally lose it. And it happens WAY too often.

If we want to solve the problem, police need to establish more credibility in the neighborhoods they serve. The shit I'm reading here is absolutely NOT going to help. Outreach, education, and just simple cooperation is needed. And none of what I'm reading here is going to do shit about that and so more people are going to die without any reason for it. :(
