Using Train Dude for a source of facts is comparable to using Olog as a source of facts on Palestinians. I'd listen to JayZee, he was an EMT for many years with EMS. Reality is that the choke hold has been determined to be the cause of death too many times. Black people's bodies (even in excellent health) are particularly vulnerable to this outcome which is why it has been prohibited. It's quite clear that violation of this NYPD policy (based on MANY sad outcomes) was the cause of death.I hope you consider me to be a fairer player than many others here but in this case, violation of NYPD policy was the cause of death, plain and simple and there was absolutely no need for it. The requirement NOT to use the choke hold has been policy and part of the training at John Jay and the academy for over a decade now. It's not like the officer wasn't aware of this and it can clearly be a basis for a charge of criminally negligent homicide. Only reason why I've been keeping out of these threads is that I am just too disgusted with so many of the responses to even bother any more with it. :( |
