FACT-The officer performed an ILLEGAL chokehold on Eric Garner.FACT-The EMT did not perform their duties to assess their patient and perform even the BASIC procedures for this situation. FACT-Eric Garner is dead as a result. FACT-The officer's lied on their report of the incident said Eric Garner didn't seem to be in physical distress despite the fact he stated multiple times in a panicked manner he couldn't breath and was unresponsive after being handcuffed as seen on the video. MY Opinion-the fact the officers can lie on in their report about an incident that was actually caught on video makes me wonder what else they lie about. I believe most police officers are good but I also believe there are bad officers and there is little to no accountability for their actions and are getting away with murder figuratively and literally. |
