Sodastream may not be making the move for "political reasons" but they may still be making it for economic ones related to the boycotts:Seems the BDS movement successfully shut down their British store earlier in the year It soon became clear that the pressure was taking its toll and the store remained largely empty even on the busiest of shopping days. So SodaStream may very well try to save face by saying politics have nothing to do with it but it seems that they are caving to the economic reality. Still the economic reality that they are responding to is caused by the boycotts Their stock price is also down 35% from last year. |
