Don't forget it wasn't too long ago lynchings were common in that part of the country, there's still plenty of people still alive that understand what a dead black man lying anywhere is supposed to mean. It's a cultural thing NYers didn't experience.Thee's no saying it was intentional on their part but the foot dragging in getting to securing and removing a body from this scene still has the appearance of malfeasance to many in that part of the country. That's their reality, deal with it. |
