you're defending that racist pig and his outdate and disproven BS stories? 400 years of labor, he bitches? African slavery only existed on in the land we now call the United States for about 258 years.

If anyone should learn anything it's you and him. "white People" are no longer the problem. It's black people who are the problem, because they refuses to accept their place in society...

AS EQUAL MEMBERS OF SOCIETY!

They don't want to be equal to the rest of humanity, they want to be special! They don't want to live with the requirements true equality brings with them. They can have everything people like Dr. King wanted. But that have to take the responsibilities, which they don't want.

And it's not just about what "I" lost. It's what Ireland and the Irish people lost. It's a lot easier to have you culture squashed when you can easily mix in with your oppressors. Irish Potato famine? Potato crop was fine, problem was the English were taking more than they need and didn't leave the Irish any to eat. You think Salaam's got problems? His family was at least taken somewhere else to be oppressed, My family? We spent centuries living under someone else's thumb on land that was once ours. They acted like they were better than us. They acted like they were doing us a favor.

I've got problems left and right, through a great grandmother on Mom's Dad's side I have roots in an area that was a tug of war zone between France and Germany. One invaded, and then the other fought back, back and forth. It's called Alsace, today part of France. And it's residents are a minority language group.

On my mom's mother side' I'm Slovenian. Again, minority group oppressed by a larger group, in this case, the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Do I need to remind you how well the Slavic took that? Just ask Franz Ferdinand.

Heck, Slavic is the very root word of SLAVE itself.

So don't tell me I don't have problems. I just pointed to three sections of my personal background where I'm descended from oppressed minority groups. Ones who nobody seems to care about. You don't have to be a different skin color or religion to have someone stomping on your rights.

But that's all anyone sees.

Did 6 million Jews die at the hands of the Nazis? Yes.

Is it one the most terrible atrocities ever committed by man? Most definitely.

except the Holocaust took 12 million lives.

What about the other 6 million people who died in the concentration camps? Why doesn't anyone ever talk about them? Gays, the phsycicsly and mentally handicapped, Gypsies, political dissidents and a basically anyone they didn't like, were killed right along with the Jewish peoples. Is anyone going to feel sorry for them two?

My point is if were are to help one group of oppressed people. Should we not help them all? Or are some of them not oppressed enough for you?
