Don't they compete for advertisers?I make a point of confusing them both by regularly clicking on ads I hate and googling random phrases. According to the various iterations of my Google tracking profile (it resets every time I clear cookies, etc) I have been old enough to collect Social Security, a woman, fluent in Mandarin, and "interested in," among other things, superhero movies, sports, car insurance, hip-hop, fashion, and makeup. By the way, I checked— "railfanning" and "trains" don't count as interests in Googleland. |
