... but he says your best bet is to swallow your pride, stay quiet and submit to any unlawful actions by police.

And then have your civil rights lawsuit thrown out on the grounds that you "consented" to whatever they did. After all, simply saying "I don't consent to that search" counts as "mouthing off" and therefore justifies the cop shooting you.

It's like the constitution doesn't even mean anything anymore.
