Dave: In 2004 the troops were not nearly as well outfitted as they were in 2010. What was given to local police departments is equipment used by our troops late in the war. The author's premise is specious but not surprising given the site where it was published, a very left-wing media outlet.

Nilet: Under Bush, the troops were not nearly as well outfitted as they were under Obama. Just gonna quote that for posterity.
