Everyone has to get off of the "unarmed" aspect of this. A person doesn't have to possess a gun/knife/weapon in order to still cause another person to fear for his life/safety. Listen, if I had MY way, the PD, FD, Corrections, Sanitation would be made up of burly 6-footers who were street-smart BUT since "diversity" rules the day, along with Political Correctness, this is not the case anymore so if the cop was engaged in a fight with a 6 foot 3 young man and was getting his ass kicked and the cop was 5 foot 7 and the perp wasn't stopping the assault and the cop feared that his gun would be taken away from him because the perp had tried that while struggling in the car, then the officer felt that he had no other choice but to shoot until the threat stopped. |
