Back when they were on 39th Street. All you're hearing today was going on back then with the cliques and the battles between board members and the drama with Pacifica itself. Almost 40 years later, signal's still up and not one thing has changed.What many don't realize is that all of the stations and Pacifica itself is attached to ... (wait for it) ... (drum roll) ... Church of Scientology. Each of the stations is required to be "community funded" and "locally operated" and have to raise their own funds. But Scientology will NEVER let any of them actually go dark. |
