I met WMATA (and Fred, as well as others) on the First M train to 6th Ave back in 2010. Both very nice guys. I met a lot of people here over the years. The M train thing was the last real railfanning trip I did. I have gradually lost interest in the LIRR (over the years with the new trains), and slowly lost in the subway too as it becomes more and more uniform. I dunno, just am not as interested as I used to be.Also met Spiderpig and Jersey Mike (and forgot who they were with), many years ago over in Patchogue when they went to see PD Tower before it was torn down. Met Terrapin and David G (who doesn't post here anymore) and lots of other people on various trips. I can't even count how many people I have met on various trips over the years, but I have probably met more of the regulars here than not. |
