I think its in Israel's best interests to start having an open ear to the UN. They shove off the UN way too easily, especially when criticism has been legitimate. The only reason they haven't suffered any Sanctions is due to the US. However for Israel to be far more respected in the international community it should at least SOUND like its trying to respect the UN.
