"The present dominates the past" means decisions should be made based on the facts on the ground rather than simply because of tradition; ie, "we've always done it that way" is not, in and of itself, a valid reason for doing it that way.I'm not sure how you think this precludes peace and/or individuality, but then again, you can't even define the words "liberal" or "conservative" so I doubt you actually understand what that phrase means. |
