I actually do ... unlike many, I grew up with Holocaust survivors and got first hand stories of what happens when the monster of racism and antisemitism rears its head. If not for that in my upbringing, I probably wouldn't care like so many others who aren't. They instilled in me that we are ALL citizens on this same lonely planet and we ALL sink or swim TOGETHER.I don't mind getting beat up for thinking that way. :) |
