Since when has Christianity had dietary laws that you could flout?You're really missing the point with a vengeance, aren't you? Kashrut is only "law" for those who choose to obey it. I don't. Then a bunch of people started spewing that I'm "antisemitic" for not doing so, apparently on the assumption that everyone on the planet was expected to keep kosher and so acknowledging that some people do while saying that I don't is offensive. The analogy I offered was that of a different religious group taking offense that someone not a member of that religion might celebrate that religion's holidays in the "wrong" way and is therefore a perfectly valid comparison. |
