As to whether or not he did it willingly, that's open to question. I think from a geopolitical standpoint, he did so but he was always very snarky about Jews and was front and center in criticizing them to seek favOUr with his southern constituency.Folks seem to forget that the "freedom rides" consisted of many Jewish students, many of whom were killed for participating in it. |
