Why does it need to be mentioned? The point is that Israel (the country) was forcibly placed on that land by a colonial power which evicted the people already living there— whether the people evicted from that land were evicted wrongfully is relevant; the presence of people living there who were not evicted is not.Except that isn't true. Since much of the author's argument was based on a false premise, it also follows that his entire argument isn't true unless otherwise corroborated. |
