I am not defending any "republican", I am showing that that photo has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the reason JayZeeBMT posted that photo, trying to show that "Bush and the pope are sympathetic to "the confederacy". It has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the fact that Bush and the Pope are standing in front of a bunch of State Flags, one of which is the Mississippi State flag that JayZee mistakenly* took to think is the actual Confederate flag after seeing the photo on some BLOG site claiming the Pope and Bush are sympathetic to the Confederacy.*And if not "mistakenly" took, then blatantly willfully misused a photo which does not show what he was trying to push You are always quick to say how "journalists" use half truths and unverified information, yet you just accept this blatant attempt at untruth, or at the very least, accidentally thinking that a state flag was the Confederate flag due to the angle of the photo. That flag is a disgrace. I assume you mean the Confederate Flag, of which this one is not, as it is the MISSISSIPPI State flag. Which was either mistakenly, or willfully presented incorrectly as the Confederate flag. And if you did mean the Mississippi state flag, it has nothing to do with the topic we were discussing, nor the photo JayZee was trying to push as a confederate flag as opposed to the Mississippi flag. |
