If they do though, we're ALL in trouble. As much as Iran doesn't like Israel, they hate US even more. If they manage to make one, it's just as likely that they'd deliver the first one here. And more likely to the west coast than the east coast since you guys are closer to them than we are over here.FWIW, at least the Russians had some sense knowing that if they ever dropped one, we'd respond rather nastily. The real worry with Iran is that they just don't give a shit. It'd be martyrdom in their own little twisted ways. So even for those who don't care about Israel (which is most of America despite what folks say here) we're every bit as much of a potential target as they are, and serving us up first is more their speed than Israel's paranoia about it. I work with our spooks every now and then and us going first is their greatest fear. |
