Desktops

Dell Dimension 4550 2.55 GHz Pentium 4 with 1024MB RAM, 30GB HD, 64MB ATI Video card, generic DVD ROM, HP 8220 external USB (yet stone-age) 4X4X6 CD-RW, 17in CRT monitor. Runs Windows XP Professional SP1. It's network name is ALP46.

Dell Dimension 4300S 1.5GHZ Pentium 4 with 384MB RAM, 20GB HD, integrated graphics, generic DVD-ROM. No monitor. It's currently serving as a file storage box until my lazy ass gets a KVM switch to share with the peripherals of the above desktop. I'm also thinking about testing a Linux based system (any suggestions?) or gasp, just putting on Apache with MySQL. It's network name is Silverliner.

Laptops

IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad R51 1.65 GHz Centrino with 768MB RAM, 40GB HD, 64MB integrated graphics, CD-RW/DVD burner. Had an Intel based iBook laptop been availible in October, I'd be an OS X user now. It's network name is AEM7AC

IBM ThinkPad 570 336MHz Pentium II with 128MB, 10GB HD 4MB integrated graphics, 52X CD-ROM, includes Ultrabase. It's basically on the scrap line unless I can restore it (not likely since the LCD's dead and the battery's useless) or salvage it for parts. The 570's lighter than its 600 series counterpart, so it may be slow, but it was great in terms of portability. It's former name was ALP44.

The two iPods that we have serve as defacto portable hard drives each with 30GBs, so we're not having issues on hard drive space and such.

If you're really curious, my workgroup and wireless network is called NEC. :)
