There is no such thing as "Forest Hills West". It's possible that when the congregation was formed, people did refer to that area as "Forest Hills West". My theory is that they use Forest Hills in their name for credibility. Forest Hills is well-known for it's Jewishness. In the about us section, they point out the neighborhood is no longer Jewish. But I do remember when some Jewish families still lived there. |
