I worked for a brief while for giggles with an ad agency writing up commercials. The marketing folks I was working with explained that guys will grab and run when they want something, won't even look at brand names or much else. They see it, they grab it and they're outta there. No point in trying to sell them on a brand, if it ain't in their face when they're in the store, you might as well piss in the wind trying to convince them to look for it.Wimmens? They'll go hunting for DAYS if they're convinced they want something. Those are the targets of the ad agencies, they're not the least bit interested in men other than trying to convince women to make them get that. Heh. |
