Had he stayed in his truck this would not have happened. It is my hope this will create a flurry of new laws that peg responsibility onto gun owners and gun users. Maybe they'll think twice about puling the trigger if doing so will likely land them in prison or bankruptcy. Limiting stand your ground laws to one's home would be an excellent start. Vigilantes should not be permitted to wander the streets, kill and walk. |
