If the employers weren't bringing them in, the problem wouldn't exist. So no, I put most of it on the illegal employers. Being here without proper paperwork (tourists from abroad and such do it all the time) isn't actually a crime - it's a violation of paperwork rules. Seriously. However, employing non-citizens IS a crime. So who's the "illegal" then? |
